As a global leader in standard power supply solutions, MEAN WELL Group has long been committed to sustainable development. The "I Love Tamsui River" initiative, first launched in 2011, has been held annually for 15 consecutive years. The 2025 event took place on May 3 at the east riverside plaza under the Bitan Suspension Bridge in Xindian. This year’s event continued the five-year project titled "Ocean Forest: Protecting the Tamsui River from Shezidao Wetlands" (2024–2028), with a strong focus on ecological conservation and sustainability education.

The event featured a variety of activities, including a fun run, cycling tour, ecological walk, and a green lifestyle market promoting sustainable practices such as reusable cups, wheat straws, and plastic-free water stations. The event successfully reduced the use of approximately 816.7 plastic bottles and cut carbon emissions by 124.9 kilograms—equivalent to the annual carbon absorption of 6.3 trees (source: MY HONG TE). These efforts helped visualize the impact of environmental action. Employees and their families actively participated, learning about local ecology and culture through hands-on experiences.

Regardless of the outcome, all participants paddled with determination, embodying the spirit of teamwork and solidarity. The event concluded successfully, reflecting the trust and commitment to sustainable development shared by the partners. Looking ahead, the goal is to collaborate with partners to build the SDG Industry Value Network and create over 100 ESG-driven companies, working together to promote sustainable development.
